Jaguar Land Rover Revenue in Slovakia 2017-2021

In 2021, Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia turnover grew by 8% to €291.6m. Profit was €6.0m, giving a profit margin of 2.1%.

Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia is a Slovak subsidiary of the British car producer Jaguar Land Rover, itself a subsidiary of Tata Motors. The factory is located in Nitra and production started in October 2018. It builds the Land Rover Discovery and Land Rover Defender models.

The €1.4 billion (£1 billion) manufacturing facility in Nitra opened on 25 October 2018. The factory employs 1,500 staff, 30% of whom are women. The facility area is about 300,000 square meters, and the annual production capacity is planned to be 150,000. The plant is the first in Europe to use Kuka’s Pulse carrier system with over 30% faster transfer times.
